Lymphography in Patients with Carcinoma of the Uterine Cervix

Abstract
Various reports have appeared in the literature recently as to the value of lymphography in cancer of the female genital tract. The purpose of this paper is to assess the role of this procedure in the treatment of cancer of the uterine cervix. At the Cancer ???? Hospital of K.A.E.R.I. between January 1 and December 31. 1976. the foot lymphogram was ????? 52 patients with carcinoma of the uterine cervix, prior to the beginning of the radiotherapy. All patients also had an intravenous pyelogram before or after the lymphogram.
The results were ???? zed as follows :
1. Of all 52 patients with cancer of the uterine cervix Stage ¥°b : 3, ¥±b:17, ¥²:22, ¥³:8, recurrent cases : 2, 21 were diagnosed as positive for metastatic disease on the lymphographic evaluation and another 2 had negative interpretation on lymphogram but diagnosed to ??? positive on I.V.P.
2. Adherence to ???? diagnostic criteria results in a high degree of accuracy in positive lymphograms.
3. Negative and susp??ous lymphograms are not useful clinically.
4. Intravenous py??? graphy may assist in evaluation of lymphographic findings.
